Information about Formal Council Questions and Responses

This page contains the publication of Question at Any Time questions and responses. The process is governed by Newport City Council’s Constitution, the principle is that any Councillor can ask a question of the Cabinet/Executive at any time, and a formal response from the Cabinet Member is issued and published within 10 working days.

It is not a Committee and meetings are not held, the word minutes is used to describe the document used to publish the responses. The dates above indicate the time of publication of the formal response from the Cabinet to Questions.

For more information on the Questions At Any Time Process, please contact Cabinet@newport.gov.uk
