Councillor Reeks asked:

With the recent granting of SPF funding for regeneration works on the Mon & Brecon canal stretch through Rogerstone up to 14 Locks will the leader agree with me that it would be a good to publicise the proposed works and timeline with a series of information boards at the Canal centre to demonstrate to the public the council’s commitment to improving and maintaining this natural resource that runs alongside a major active travel route?

Councillor Forsey responded:

Following confirmation of funding, detailed design work is currently underway.  When the detailed designs are completed and a proposed timeline for the works to be undertaken is finalised, these will be shared with the public, including information displays on site.
