What is the administration’s plan to address the flooding that has happened again in the village of Llanwern causing damage to property and risking people?

Why has no investment taken place in the drainage network around Llanwern that could have prevented or at least reduced the impact of the flooding?

Councillor Jeavons responded:

As officers have already advised, meetings will be held with the appropriate organisations to investigate the recent local flooding events and to establish interventions to mitigate any further such occurrences.
