Councillor White asked:

Following the announcement that Welsh Government are making substantial funds available in this year’s Bus Service Support Grant, will the Cabinet Member consider using this money to reinstate some of the bus services which were axed due to the previous withdrawal of grant?

I am particularly interested in the previous X16 service through Marshfield to Cardiff.

Councillor Jeavons responded:

No new money has been announced. The Bus Services Support Grant is set at the same level as previous years and is fully committed.
