Question to the Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure : 2019/21 - Splash Park Tredegar Park - Engineering Advice Minutes: Councillor Ferris asked:
It has been stated that Newport City Council has been in consultation with an engineering firm concerning the building of the promised Splash Park at Tredegar Park. Will there be any charge for the consultation and if so how much? Also, what advice have they given if this has already taken place?
Councillor Harvey responded:
The Park and Recreation department took advice regarding the technical problems with the facility at Tredegar Park prior to decommissioning it in 2013. The Water Play facility was decommissioned by an appointed contractor, General Waters UK Ltd. In 2017 the Parks team had informal advice for which no payment was made. |
