Councillor Mogford asked:

Car parking charges have been introduced at the Wetlands and Belle Vue Park. Charges appear imminent at Tredegar Park.

Can you categorically rule out future moves to introduce car parking charges at the Glebelands and Beechwood Park for the term of this Administration?

Councillor Harvey responded:

The car park at Beechwood house is appropriated to Venture Wales under a lease arrangement and is therefore not managed by City Services at the present time.

Car parking charges are set as part of the Council’s overall budget setting process.
