The agenda sets out the intended date and time of the hearing.  The hearing may be

adjourned or cancelled should circumstances change.

Please also note Section 5 of Code of Practice for Licensing Hearings. The Licensing Sub-Committee Code of Practice will be available upon request at the meeting.

Requirements for Applicants and Interested Parties etc.

Upon receipt of the notice of the meeting, the Applicant and the interested parties must inform the Council in writing addressed to Mrs A Jenkins, Democratic Services,

Newport City Council, Civic Centre, Newport, South Wales, NP20 4UR:

§  Whether they intend to attend or be represented at the hearing,

§  Whether they consider a hearing to be unnecessary, and

§  Requests for any other people to attend the hearing eg witnesses

(including their names and a brief description of the evidence

that they can give and its relevance to the application).
